Produced through an Arts Council grant, Kamoinge photographer Collette V. Fournier’s “Retrospective: Spirit of a People” is a historic embodiment of four decades of her photography archives.
Fournier’s Retrospective will be presented at:

The hour and a half presentation with a Q & A takes the viewer from black and white to color imagery and from film to digital capture. Fournier’s serial works explore themes of The Amistad: From Mystic Seaport to Nova Scotia, Post Hurricane Katrina, Travels to West Africa, and her community.

Photography: "Observers of Light"
This workshop is for individuals interested in learning more about digital cameras, lenses, settings and accessories. An emphasis on composition will focus on learning how to take richer, more meaningful photographs. The teacher shares her photographic documentation and knowledge from a 40 year professional photography career. The presentation delves into the steps to photographic technique and composition and learning to have a photographer’s eye as an observer of light.
